Regional Groups - Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors

Regional Groups hold events which may include presentations, talks or site visits and are open to anyone. If you are a member of the CIEHF, you will be invited to Regional Group events based on the location of your preferred address held on our records.

Regional Groups can organise visits to places you wouldn’t otherwise get easy access to such as Jaguar Land Rover, RNIB, Highways Agency, National Air Traffic Services.

First of all, thanks for the opportunity to visit the factory. It’s visits like this that make a real difference in understanding the economy that sustains us, the application of socio-technical expertise, and how we can improve our discipline. It really is important to understand not just the theory and the tools, but to gain a grasp of the nous of the discipline. You did an excellent job on that visit - you were impressive. Truly. Keep up the good work, and please, more visits.

Just a note to say thanks very much for organising the visit to NATS. It was a really interesting session and very thought provoking. I thought all the presentations, particularly the one from Victoria were well presented and informative. Some very interesting Human Factors approaches are being investigated.
