Mixed range of talks for London & SE Group

Mixed range of talks for London & SE Group
11 March 2015 admin

The London and South East Regional Group recently restarted after a couple of quiet years, with a great evening of presentations and an opportunity to network over drinks.

On 11 March, the presentations were delivered by a team of speakers from consultancy System Concepts. Established in 1981, the London-based company has an award-winning track record delivering work in ergonomics, usability, health and safety, and training.

Led by Managing Director Tanya Heasman, the presentation team also included Vicky King, Brian Bunning, Caroline Owen and Sue Mackenzie. Their presentations covered a broad range of interesting topics including:

  • Mobile device usability and accessibility
  • Delivering training packages to large manufacturing clients
  • Use of cultural probes and ethnographic research for consumer device usability
  • Employee engagement
  • The effects of an ageing population
  • Sit/stand workstations
  • Mobile working trends
  • The presentations were well received by attendees, with plenty of questions and discussion. Attendees also enjoyed the chance to catch up and make new contacts over drinks before and after the talks.
