SESAR is the largest development programme for new and novel ATM concepts since a decade. Within that context a human factors process has been derived and deployed at a programmatic level to ensure that the projects take into account to best human factors practice.
This presentation discusses the reference material deployed into the SESAR project and provide two airport based case study projects describing the output and impact of the process. Both the feedback on the reference material and the input provided directly to the projects is described.
Renée began working as a human factors expert for Eurocontrol in 2003. Since 2010 she worked in SESAR where she contributed to the development of the SESAR human performance assessment methodology and currently she is responsible for leading and performing human performance assessments in various operational and technical SESAR projects.
This presentation was given at the CIEHF event ‘Human Factors in Aviation Safety‘ on 9th November 2015 at the Radisson Blu hotel, East Midlands Airport.
