Anyone can take advantage of the benefits that membership of the CIEHF has to offer. Our benefits package is designed to support you, help you learn, advance your career and put you in touch with other professionals in ergonomics and human factors.
We have grades to reflect your level of interest, knowledge, skills and experience, and several entry points on our membership pathways. If you are applying for Registered membership or Fellowship, you can apply for Chartered status at the same time.
I joined the CIEHF because I think it’s a good way to keep up with the latest research and developments in my area of expertise while also providing a platform to network with other professionals working in the sector. Keeping up to date with human factors research in a breadth of different fields of application is a good way of exploring innovative solutions to some of the problems we may face. For me the key benefits are access to journals, professional recognition through membership/chartership status and access to conferences and events with related with human factors. I think if as a member you are able to dedicate time to proactively get involved in different activities and use the resources made available then it’s value for money.
